Savonlinna Tourism Forum is an annual meeting place for entrepreneurs in the Savonlinna region, 2016 Forum was held cooperation with Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences. The Forum gathered 90 stakeholders from the Savonlinna area to be informed of the ongoing projects of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Leading themes were Food, Nature and wellness, and also sustainable tourism. Among other expo tables DiscOver55 -project gathered many (~10) interested local entrepreneurs to talk about Senior tourism in general, and also showed a lot of interest in the starting project.
The Forum was hosted at Savonniemi campus, Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences and organized by SYKE – Savonlinna Business Services Ltd.
